How to place different order types: sales, quotes, and bonuses
The main difference between these order types and a standard order is their purpose. Each follows specific rules defined by the company, but the entry process is the same, carried out directly on the order issuance screen.
Order Type
Section titled “Order Type”In Demander, every order must have an Order Type specified. This field defines the operation being performed at the time of issuance:
- Sale (Venda): standard sales order for billing.
- Quote (Orçamento): commercial proposal or quotation for the customer, without committing to the standard sales flow immediately.
- Bonus (Bonificação): shipment of products as bonus items or free goods, according to the company’s commercial policies.
- Other operations: the company can also register options such as Loan/Bailment (Comodato), Exchange (Troca), Sample (Amostra), among others, which may vary from one customer to another.
Order type availability
Section titled “Order type availability”Not every salesperson or customer sees all order types when placing an order. This happens because access to each order type can be configured differently by company, salesperson, or customer.
What to do if the order type does not appear
Section titled “What to do if the order type does not appear”If a specific order type does not appear in your options list, the reason is usually that this order type has not yet been released for your user or for the selected customer.
In this case, contact the person responsible for Demander configuration at your company to check this permission.
