Seller Registration and Management Guide in Demander
In Demander Web, you can register new sellers and edit existing sellers. Registration allows you to set access credentials, order number ranges, price lists, branches, and permissions for orders, customers, routes, check-in, and events.
Note: The seller type, Salesperson or Manager, influences the configuration of sales teams.
Access Path
Section titled “Access Path”Registrations > Sellers
- To register a new seller, click New seller.
- To edit an existing registration, locate the seller and click Edit.
Data Tab
Section titled “Data Tab”- Code: Seller identifier; in integrated companies, it must correspond to the code used in the ERP.
- Name: Name of the seller or manager.
- Login: Username used to access Demander.
- Seller type: Defines whether the registration will be for a Salesperson or Manager.
- Active: Defines whether the seller can use the system and issue orders.
- CPF/CNPJ: Document associated with the seller.
- Password: Password used to access Demander.
- Phone: Phone number associated with the seller.
- Related segments: Customer segments linked to the seller.
Preferences Tab
Section titled “Preferences Tab”- Initial order range: Number of orders already used before starting operations in Demander.
- Current order range: Number from which subsequent orders will be generated.
- Final order range: Maximum number of orders allowed for the seller.
- Example: If the initial and current ranges are 2,000, the next order will be 2,001.
- Flex Balance: Available balance to be used for discounts, according to company and seller rules.
Configuration and Security Tab
Section titled “Configuration and Security Tab”- IMEI: Restricts the seller’s access to the specified device.
- Price lists they can view: Defines which price lists the seller can use in orders.
- Branches they can view: Defines which branches will be available to the seller.
- Product group: Allows linking product groups to the seller.
- Show or hide product group: Defines whether product groups will be displayed in the Virtual Store.
- Allow registering product photo: Allows the seller to add photos to products via Demander Web.
Permissions and Rules
Section titled “Permissions and Rules”Customers and Routes
Section titled “Customers and Routes”- Enable registration and editing of new routes via the mobile app.
- Allow adding or changing customers associated with routes.
- Allow editing customer registration data or registering new customers via the mobile app and Demander Web.
Orders
Section titled “Orders”- Capture geographic position: Records the device’s location at the moment the order is issued.
- Minimum amount: Defines the lowest allowed order value for the seller.
- Released order types: Defines which order types the seller can use (if none is selected, all will be available).
- Release hierarchy: Defines the individuals responsible for releasing orders that exceed the maximum discount or fail to meet the minimum margin.
- Flex Balance Calculation: Defines whether the balance follows company configuration, is independent, or is not calculated.
Sales to Customers of Other Sellers
Section titled “Sales to Customers of Other Sellers”Defines when the seller can issue orders to customers assigned to colleagues:
- Active only
- Active and inactive
- Inactive only
- Never
Visits and Events
Section titled “Visits and Events”- Check-in and Checkout: Defines whether check-in at the customer location is mandatory and the allowed radius (maximum distance).
- Check-in — days: Defines the period related to check-in validity or usage.
- GPS and Photos: Records the seller’s location and requires a photo when registering an event.
Ignored Validation Rules
Section titled “Ignored Validation Rules”Allows selecting validations that will not be applied when issuing orders:
- Minimum payment condition amount: Allows finalizing orders below the required amount.
- Quantity per package: Allows finalizing orders with a quantity different from the defined multiple.
Note: Use these options only when authorized by the company, as they allow finalizing orders that would normally be blocked.
Checklist Before Saving
Section titled “Checklist Before Saving”Before finalizing, make sure that:
- Name, login, and password are correct.
- The seller is active and the type is set correctly.
- The required price lists and branches have been released.
- The order range is correct and does not overlap with another seller’s range.
Import and Notes
Section titled “Import and Notes”- ERP Integration: To import sellers automatically, check the Integration Layout: Table 02 - Salesperson.
