Available at: Captura da tela 1

This article aims to explain the Usage Time Policies Module.

This module is responsible for defining the usage times for Demander Android and iOS. It is possible to configure several different policies, per day, week, weekends, create a Policy for a specific seller or a general Policy per Company and also what the seller can do in the application.

From version 4.25 of Demander Android and version 1.50 of Demander iOS it will be possible to configure some usage blocking options.

First, access “Usage time policies” and click on the button

On the Policy registration/editing screen it is possible to define it.

  • Description: A name that easily identifies this Policy, for example, if it is available from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, put in the description something that easily identifies this such as “Released Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 18:00”, or, if the Policy is for a Seller, put in the description “Seller Policy and the name of the Seller”.
  • Active: Inactive policies cannot be used.
  • Block Message: Personalized message, which will be displayed when the seller synchronizes.
    • When there is no message defined for the policy, the default message is displayed, with the synchronization times.

  • Time configuration: In this area it is possible to configure each day of the week separately. The options are as follows:
    • Released: Releases synchronization for the configured day.
    • Locked: Blocks synchronization for the configured day.
    • Define: Here you can define the period during which synchronization will be possible. It is possible to configure up to 2 periods per day.
      • Taking the exemplo below, we have on Wednesday the period from 08:00 to 18:00, this means that synchronization will only be allowed within this time. We also have the Thursday periods from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00, here are two different periods on the same day, the seller will only be able to synchronize if it is within one of these periods.

  • Operations blocked outside permitted hours
    • Here it is defined which operations will be blocked if the seller is outside the permitted hours, the options are:
      • Synchronization on mobile (export/import)- It does not allow the seller to export or import any type of data, but he can carry out operations within the app, such as issuing a new order, a visit without a sale. Operations performed outside of synchronization hours can only be synchronized
      • Start entering a new order- Does not allow the seller to start a new order or duplicate an order.
      • Start editing existing order- Does not allow the seller to view/edit an existing order.
      • Delete order on mobile- Does not allow the seller to delete an order.
      • Save order- Does not allow the seller to save an order.
      • Export orders from mobile to Demander Web- Does not allow the seller to export the order. Here the seller receives data normally and can save the order, the only operation he cannot perform is sending orders from the app to Demander web and consequently to the ERP.
