Commercial Agreement Concept
This article aims to explain the concept and use of the Commercial Agreement.
About the Trade Agreement
Section titled “About the Trade Agreement”- The commercial agreement aims to manipulate the discount configured in Demander, to fit a client into a rule different from the standard one.
- Example: let’s say the company defaults to a discount policy (per order value, or per order) of 7%.
- A negotiation was made with a certain client in which it was determined that the client will have a 9% discount, in this case the client’s commercial agreement must be 2%, as the commercial agreement is what the customer deviates from the discount standard.
- If the client’s negotiation causes it to fall below 7%, which is the standard in the previous example, the commercial agreement will be negative, that is, in practice the client will have less discount than the company’s standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
The commercial agreement does not only validate the discount at product level. At Demander we consider that the commercial agreement is a general percentage negotiated with the customer. When the negotiation is product by product, the most recommended is the use of a price list for the customer, with their product-to-product discount percentages defined in it.
The commercial agreement does not lower the price of the product on the add items screen, as the condition or payment method does.
