How to enable Flutter on Android for a salesperson (or the whole company)

Migration from native Demander Android to the Flutter structure can be done in two ways: for the whole company or only for one salesperson. That lets you try the new app with part of the team without changing everyone else.

What the setting controls

The Comportamento do aplicativo Demander Android field defines whether the phone app uses:

Option	Effect
Android Nativo	Keeps the native Java structure with the original Android database.
Estrutura Flutter (banco novo do Flutter)	Switches to the Flutter architecture with its own database. On the next sign-in, Demander Android migrates to the new database.

The salesperson record has the same control. On the default value, the salesperson inherits the company setting. If you choose Flutter or Native on the salesperson, only that salesperson changes — everyone else keeps the company rule.

Enable Flutter for only one salesperson

Use this when the company is still on Android Nativo and you want Flutter for one or a few salespeople.

In Demander Web, open Cadastros → Vendedores.
Find the salesperson and click Editar.
Find the Comportamento do aplicativo Demander Android field.
Select Estrutura Flutter (banco novo do Flutter).
Save.
Ask the salesperson to sign out and sign in again on the Android app (new authentication) so the database migration runs.

To put that salesperson back on the native app without changing the company, choose Android Nativo on the same field. To make them follow the company again, leave the field on the default value (inherits the company setting).

Who can change the salesperson setting

The change is made in Demander Web, on the salesperson record — the salesperson cannot change it alone in the app.

In practice, the Demander team uses this field for gradual migration (enable Flutter for some salespeople while the company stays on Android Nativo). Anyone who can edit salespeople and sees this field on the form can also change it.

Enable Flutter for the whole company

Use this when you want all salespeople who still follow the company to use Flutter on Android.

In Demander Web, open Configurações da Empresa.
Open Configurações adicionais.
In the Módulos adicionais group, find Comportamento do aplicativo Demander Android.
Select Estrutura Flutter (banco novo do Flutter).
Save.
Ask the team to sign in again on the Android app.

Salespeople with an explicit value on their record (Flutter or Native) keep their individual rule until someone changes their record.

Who can enable it for the whole company

The company setting Comportamento do aplicativo Demander Android is restricted to the Demander level (internal Retta/Demander team).

Demander users can see and change the field in additional settings.
Partner and company users generally cannot change this key themselves — they ask the Demander team (support, CS, or product) to enable migration for the company.

That avoids turning on the Android database migration for the entire base by mistake.

Checklist after enabling

The salesperson (or team) did a new authentication on Android.
Offline orders and sync were tested on the enabled device.
If something fails, you can set the salesperson back to Android Nativo without undoing the company setting (and the other way around).
