This article aims to explain the concept of Preposed Seller and how to configure it in Demander.

What is a Preposed Seller?

An agent salesperson is a person appointed by a commercial representative to act on their behalf in prospecting customers and obtaining new orders. Works as a delegated seller, with the responsibility of knowing the products and services offered by the representative, in addition to the commercial and contractual conditions involved.

The representative seller can be an employee, a partner or even a third party hired by the sales representative. He must follow the guidelines and rules established by the representative, who is legally responsible for the agent’s actions. The commercial representative, in this context, is known as the preponent, that is, the person who delegates the functions to the agent.

Represented Seller

The Represented Seller is the representative responsible for the Agent Seller, that is, he is the seller to whom the agent is subordinate. For Represented Sellers to be able to view all orders from the Represented Seller, it is necessary to activate a specific configuration. This option is located in Company Settings, in the “Additional Settings” tab. Just look for the option “Allow agents to view all orders from the represented seller” and activate it.

## How to register a Preposed Seller

To register an Agent Seller, the process can be done directly through Demander Web, through the Agent screen.

The registration screen is similar to that of Seller on Demander, however, with some registration limitations.

IMPORTANT: If your company uses integration with an ERP, the ideal is to register the Preposed Seller via integration. The Represented Seller is registered in the same table as the Represented Seller, which is the table 02 - Sellers. The only difference between the two records is in field 19 of this table. When filling in this field, the seller is automatically linked to a Represented Seller as an agent of the same. If field 19 is not filled in, the registration will be treated as that of a common seller within Demander
