Viewing product prices in other price lists
The Other prices feature shows, on the order item, that product’s prices in other registered price lists. It is consultive only: the seller can compare values, but the item still uses the price and rules from the price list selected on the order header.
How to enable
Section titled “How to enable”The Other prices block appears on the order item only if it is visible in Field requirement. Despite the screen name, this setting controls whether the block is displayed (not only whether a field is required).
- Open Demander Web.
- In the search bar, look for Obrigatoriedade de Campos (Field requirement) and open the setting.
- Find the Resumo do produto (Product summary) group.
- For Outros preços (Other prices), set Visível - Não Obrigatório (Visible - Not required), or another option that keeps the block visible. Avoid Oculto (Hidden) if you want to use the lookup.
- Save the configuration.
How to look it up on the order
Section titled “How to look it up on the order”- Add or edit an order item.
- Open the Other prices block (Product summary).
- Compare the product’s values across the other available lists.
The price list on the order header stays the same. Looking up other lists does not change the order’s list or apply those lists’ prices to the item.
Practical example
Section titled “Practical example”Order with the Wholesale list. When opening Product A under Other prices, the seller may see:
| List | Displayed price |
|---|---|
| Wholesale (order list) | R$ 50.00 |
| Retail | R$ 65.00 |
| Distributor | R$ 55.00 |
The item still uses the Wholesale list price and rules. Retail and Distributor values are for comparison during negotiation only.
One price list per order
Section titled “One price list per order”While the seller views other tables, the product on the item follows the price and rules of the list chosen on the header.
Rules that still apply
Section titled “Rules that still apply”Everything that applies to the item still comes only from the order’s price list. Looking up other lists does not relax or replace these rules.
Active list
Section titled “Active list”The list chosen on the header must be active. Inactive lists are not used for the order’s commerce — and viewing prices in another list does not “reactivate” the order’s list.
Availability for customer, seller, and branch
Section titled “Availability for customer, seller, and branch”The order’s list must be released for that customer, seller, and branch. The Other prices lookup does not widen that availability: what does not apply to the order still does not apply.
Product price on the order’s list
Section titled “Product price on the order’s list”The product must have a price registered on the order’s list. Seeing the value on another table helps comparison, but it does not replace registration on the item’s commercial list.
Minimum order value
Section titled “Minimum order value”The minimum value remains that of the order’s list. Prices shown in other lists do not enter the calculation or unlock closing if the official list’s minimum is not met.
Minimum and maximum quantity
Section titled “Minimum and maximum quantity”Quantity limits (minimum and maximum units) follow the order’s list. The lookup does not change the item’s ceiling or floor.
Payment conditions and methods
Section titled “Payment conditions and methods”Allowed conditions and methods are those of the order’s list. Other lists may have different policies — they do not start applying just because they appear in the lookup.
Product price rules
Section titled “Product price rules”Promotions, max discount, locked price, prefixed, per-customer, fractional, packaging, and other product rules remain those of the order’s list. The Other prices screen does not apply another list’s promotion or discount.
Price composition (currency, freight, taxes, redispatch)
Section titled “Price composition (currency, freight, taxes, redispatch)”Currency, freight, taxes, redispatch, and other price components follow the composition of the order’s list. Values consulted in other lists are visual reference, not the item’s calculation base.
What this feature does NOT do
Section titled “What this feature does NOT do”When you enable and use Other prices, Demander does not:
- Apply another list’s price to the order item.
- Change the price list on the order header.
- Validate or apply rules from the other lists (availability, minimums, conditions, promotions, composition, etc.).
- Create an order with several commercial lists at once.
ERP integration (layout 17)
Section titled “ERP integration (layout 17)”The other price list information consulted on the item is sent in layout Table 17 — Order Item, so the ERP can import that data with the other item fields.
This does not change the order’s commercial rules: the header price list remains the one applied. Layout 17 only carries the other-list reference to the ERP.
When to use
Section titled “When to use”Use it when the team needs to compare tables (wholesale, retail, distributor, etc.) at sale time, without giving up the commercial safety of the order’s official list. It helps negotiations where the seller shows other lists as reference, but the close follows the selected list’s policy.
