The Composite Product Grid

In Demander Web it is possible to create, edit and delete Composite Product Grid.

This grid model groups products (SKUs) that have different characteristics, in this grid model we consider each variation as a single product (SKU).

Examples:

  • SKU 0000001 - BLUE COTTON T-SHIRT
  • SKU 0000002 - GREEN COTTON T-SHIRT M
  • SKU 0000003 - BLUE COTTON T-SHIRT L

To make creating the grid easier, follow the steps described below:

  • Grid Segments
    • They will be used to create the different grids. E.g.: clothing, soda.
  • Grid Types
    • Description of the attributes that will be used in the segments. The same attribute can be used in different segments. E.g.: type, material, color, size, flavor.
  • Grid Type Variations
    • Description of the different characteristics that each attribute will have. Ex.: color (red, blue, black), flavor (grape, cola, orange).
  • Segments x Grid Types
    • Assignment of attributes and their characteristics to the desired segments. Ex.: for clothing (type, material, color, size), for soft drinks (flavor).
