Concept of Composite Product Grid vs. Simple Product Grid
Demander has two different product range models, see them below:
In Demander, this grid model groups products (SKUs) that have different characteristics, in this grid model we consider each variation as a single product (SKU).
Examples:
- SKU 0000001 - BLUE COTTON T-SHIRT
- SKU 0000002 - GREEN COTTON T-SHIRT M
- SKU 0000003 - BLUE COTTON T-SHIRT L
In Demander, this grid model is used when the variations in a product’s characteristics are not different SKU’s, but rather derivations of the product.
Example:
- SKU 000001 - PLASTIC CUP FOR PARTY 500 ML
- GREEN COLOR
- BLUE COLOR
- PINK COLOR
- SKU 000002 - PLASTIC FORK FOR PARTY
- GREEN COLOR
- BLUE COLOR
- PINK COLOR
