How to configure the B2B Online Store: layout, banners, products, and inventory?

The B2B Online Store is a sales channel integrated with Demander. It allows company customers to access their own dedicated page, check available products, and place orders without needing direct contact with a salesperson.

Orders placed through the store are sent to Demander and identified as orders originating from the B2B Online Store, being processed alongside other company orders.

The store uses existing records in Demander, such as:

  • Products;
  • Product groups;
  • Price lists;
  • Customers;
  • Payment terms;
  • Branches;
  • Order types.

Regarding pricing, the price list configured in the B2B Online Store is used to display products when a visitor is not yet identified. Once the customer logs into the store with their user account, the system can use the price list linked to that customer, according to the configuration adopted by the company.

Therefore, before making the store available, it is important to check:

  • Which price list will be used;
  • Whether products are registered in that list;
  • Whether prices are correct;
  • Whether customers are linked to the appropriate lists;
  • Which payment term will be applied;
  • Which salesperson will be used to issue the orders.

Customer access can be created manually in Demander or sent via integration. It is also possible to enable registration requests and, if desired, self-registration. Even in these cases, customers that already exist in the system need to be validated before access is granted, for security reasons.

The store configuration also allows setting up banners, featured products, institutional pages, category menus, and additional features such as WhatsApp integration and tracking abandoned shopping carts.

In summary, the B2B Online Store operates as an online extension of Demander: the company configures the store once, customers log in with their accounts, and placed orders become available in Demander to continue the sales process.
